After a short meeting with the DNR boat landing crew on Monday, Sept. 9th and some re-scheduling on their part, Ron and Don agreed to once again blast the sand away at the landing. Thanks DNR!
In other news, the new facilities and lands property supervisor will meet with me next week at the landing to further discuss options to improve the landing. I’m proposing that the Town of Lincoln be allowed to clear sand with the new front end loader.
The DNR is aware of the petition signed by 56 of our riparians and will be held until next weeks meeting at which time it will be forwarded if an amicable solution can not be reached.
